Authentic Musang King possesses a pulp colour that is golden yellow or dark ginger; and pale colours should not appear in the pulp. Any other colours are not genuine Musang King. Musang King should not taste sour unless it is spoilt. Usually spoilt fruits are due to bad handling during transportation time.
